Facebook account of Pandey has been disabled after she commented on the censorship of the social networking site. Model Poonam Pandey has always managed to be in the news by posting near nude pictures and videos on the social networking sites.

Poonam announced the news on Twitter and wrote, "#Help Tweethearts!! My Official Facebook Account Disabled #ATTACKonFREEDOMofSPEACH ( : (((sic)".

Later many of her followers even suggested her ways to revive her account. Pandey severely criticized the social networking site on Twitter and wrote 'RIP Facebook'.
