Everyone's prime requirement is to be happy and free of tension. A healthy body goes hand in hand with a healthy mind, because if the body is sickly and weak and mind is not peaceful, one cannot lead a happy life. When the health of the body, peace of mind and joy of heart meet together, there is happiness.

Health is the normal, natural state of a human being and methods regarding Art of Living, of being well and staying well, should begin early in life, arid continue for a lifetime. Health education can be carried out not only by medical specialists or physical fitness experts, but also by parents, teachers, friends, fellow-workers and members of similar-interest groups as well. Bad health sets in when there is violation of Nature's laws due to ignorance and self-indulgence etc. Stress and strain and bad company are one of the major factors responsible for many mental and physical disorders, prevalent in modern days. Many studies have shown that people, who attend some of worship services, tend to be in better shape, and live longer than those who rarely set foot inside a house of prayer.

It is up to us to filter out the garbage from our minds. We need to find a place of peace and refuge from the world. We need to keep our mind focused on God, trusting in him. Self realization is the path to bliss. We seem to pay too much importance to other people, because we do not know ourselves too well. On the battlefield of Kurukshetra, when Jagatguru imparts true knowledge to dejected Arjuna, his delusion and doubts disappear.

One effective way of doing this is spending sometime in association with God for having spiritual growth. For this, one has to have a firm belief that everyone and everything belongs to God. Our conscience should remain awakened and we should try to develop it. Happiness cannot be achieved through a robot or computer. It can be achieved only by developing consciousness that leads to a balance in every situation.

Dr. Alexio Carrel, winner of the Noble Prize for Medicines, has said "Emotions determine the contraction or dilation of small arteries and are accompanied by changes in the circulation of blood. Envy, hate and fear, when become habitual, are capable of starting organic changes and diseases start". So for happiness, healthy body-healthy mind-contentment and bent towards spiritualism is needed.
